| The Student Center was given the status of a 'personal parish' under the title, 'Saint Irenaeus, Bishop and Martyr'

We are a community of students enrolled in various institutions of higher education in Czestochowa. Together with our chaplains we have launched a project to build a formation center within the framework of a 'personal parish' under the title 'St Irenaeus, Bishop and Martyr'. We want to build a house of meetings, a conference hall and chapel near the campus. We are not an ordinary parish and therefore, we cannot collect money. We have embarked on this task because we see that the Church, Poland and Cz?stochowa need young and educated people who are formed according to Christian values. In the immediate vicinity of student halls of residence, bars, pubs and discos there should be a house where we can spend the period of our studies with Christ, present in the Eucharist. We are grateful for any kind of help. Every Thursday we pray for our donors in our community.
