ARCHBISHOP JEDRASZEWSKI IN DEFENCE OF CHILDREN AGAINST GENDER IDEOLOGY
ANNA CICHOBŁAZIŃSKA
Being concerned and outrageous with a situation which took place in the fourth year of the Primary School no 8 in Belchatow, where there were lessons in the spirit of gender ideology, out of parents’ knowledge or consent, archbishop Marek Jedraszewski, the metropolitan of Lodz, on 6 December 2014, wrote a letter to inhabitants of Belchatow. ‘Some children were crying, feeling forced to playing roles which were aimed against their sense of identity and dignity – the Archbishop writes. – Having found out about it, their parents were shocked by the situation, especially that in the Curriculum of the School there is a provision saying that in the school there is atmosphere, ‘in which students, teachers and parents will work together on creating personality of the young man’.
In his letter, archbishop Jedraszewski informs parents that in this issue he sent a letter to the District Curator. He also expresses his solidarity with children, who became victims of gender ideology, and with their parents. He asks for a prayer and an attitude of constant being vigilant, ‘so that Polish schools would be places in which children are brought up for the truth, the good and beauty – that is, for the values whose Creator is God’.
