Dear Brothers in episcopate, I greet each of You and Particular Churches which Lord entrusted to Your paternal management. I thank archbishop Józef Michalik for his words, especially for assuring me that the Church in Poland prays for me and for my ministry. »

‘NIEDZIELA’ WAS IN VATICAN WITH POLISH BISHOPS

On 1-8 February 2014 bishops from all Polish dioceses were making a pilgrimage to Rome within the visit ‘Ad limina apostolorum’. They were praying in Roman basilicas, talking with the Holy Father Francis and reporting the situation of the Church in our Homeland, they were also taking part in important meetings in Vatican offices. ‘Niedziela’ was accompanying our bishops in this important event. »

THIS VISIT WILL BRING GOOD FRUIT IN POLAND

It was a warm-hearted and successful visit – it was how cardinal Stanisław Dziwisz summoned up the ‘Ad limina apostolorum’ of Polish bishops in Rome. All bishops with whom one talks, are impressed by warm-heartedness of pope Francis. He welcomes them as guests, he welcomes them with heartedness, and then he escorts them to the door as a host of home. »

And here today we are witnesses of the visits of Polish hierarchs of the Church during the pontificate of pope Francis – the visit so much awaited. »
